Healthy Berry Blast Smoothie

It has been so fun using all of the new gadgets that Timmy and I got from our wedding. I have been especially loving my Vitamix! I’ve been throwing random concoctions together and it seems like no matter what I put in I always end up with a smooth, perfectly blended, refreshing drink! Here’s a recipe for my new go-to morning smoothie!

Berry Smoothie

MY BERRY BLAST SMOOTHIE: (Yields 3 servings)

Ingredients:

1 cup Strawberries

1/3 cup Blueberries

1/3 cup Raspberries

1 Banana

1 cup Cashew Milk

1 cup Plain Yogurt

3-4 Dates (pitted and cut in half)

1/2 teaspoon Flax Seeds

1/2 teaspoon Chia Seeds

Directions:

Wash and cut your fruit. (I like to cut my strawberries and bananas in half, but you can throw them in whole. Make sure you cut off the strawberry stems!)

Put Cashew Milk and Plain Yogurt into the Vitamix first!

Then add your strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, bananas, dates, flax seeds and chia seeds.

Blend until smooth.

Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy!
