So a few weeks ago I was venting to you about how nervous I was to host my first Thanksgiving. I wanted it to be everything my family is used to sprinkled with a little bit of newness. We started the day with a Turkey Trot in the Pacific Palisades. I have to be honest, Timmy and I got in a fight that morning on our way to the Trot because he suggested we start dinner at 4pm.
A few weeks ago I posted on my Instagram about the challenge I was having with keeping my outdoor furniture clean! Even with covers and regular cleaning, fighting with the elements in my backyard is impossible. Marie Flanigan, my go-to source for all things home decor and improvement came to the rescue and put together a list of tips to help me take care of my beautiful things!
With a shared appreciation for good taste and fine living, creative-minded cousins Jeanne Chan and Gloria Wong Tritasavit co-founded Harlow & Grey, a line of chic and modern disposable tableware, to make entertaining both easy and elevated. The company was founded on the belief that high style and good design should be accessible to anyone who can dream it. Today, Gloria (co-founder, creative director and a mother of 3) is sharing a few useful tips to throwing your child’s first birthday party.

When I was designing my kitchen, I knew I wanted it to be minimal with a few bold statements. One of my favorite parts of the room that helped make everything come to life and bring it all together are my countertops from Aria Stone Gallery!
More home updates coming your way! This time, it’s about one of my favorite spaces in the house… our backyard!
I’ve mentioned this a couple times, but throughout my home renovation journey I’ve been working with Marie Flanigan. Marie and I met over Instagram almost a year ago, and she was interested in helping me with some projects for our new house.
New home update: renovations are coming together slowly but surely! I’ve shared this before, but Timmy and I officially bought a new home almost a year ago now and it’s crazy how much has changed in just a few months. We’ve been doing some updates here and there since last summer, and we’re starting to see some major results (yay!).
Jen Kelly and Becca Perren are the founders of one of my favorite baby brands, Pehr. If you’re not familiar with the brand, they launched their line of children’s décor and accessories 3 years ago to compliment their Home line. Fast forward to today and Pehr storage, nursery décor and all of their fun accessories are one of the most popular baby companies. Today, they’re giving us some great things to think about when putting together your nursery.
As some of you probably know by now, Timmy and I bought a new house almost a year ago and are finally in the finishing steps of making it really feel like home! I’ve had so much fun fixing up some rooms with Marie Flanigan Interiors (kitchen remodel details coming in the near future) and can’t wait to show you all how everything turned out soon. Before we get to that though, I thought I’d shine some attention on an important element of your home that typically goes overlooked: window treatments.
One of the first decisions I made when re-designing my kitchen was picking the stone for the countertops. I felt like if I had this down, all the other design elements would come into place fast and easy! Marie Flanigan, my amazing interior designer from Texas, introduced me to Aria Stone Gallery, the most incredible online marketplace for stone!
I know this Gift Guide is a little late but between packing the whole family for our upcoming trip to Florida and overseeing the renovations in our home, on top of everything else, time got away from me! I rounded up some of my favorite gifts — almost all of them are under $100 AND can still be delivered in time for the holidays!
