A Tangle & Tear Free Sonny

THIS POST IS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH JOHNSON’S®

Sonny’s new FAVORITE time of the day is bath time. For a while, we were bathing him in our kitchen sink because we were honestly too afraid to bring him into the big tub. He was growing out of it and it wasn’t such an enjoyable experience for him OR for us.  However, we have a super old bathtub and were worried our knees would give out if we had to bend over and put pressure on them every night!

What I’m Getting Sonny For The Holidays

Happy Holidays Everyone!

I am so excited for the holidays this year!! Usually we head to Vermont of Florida to spend time with Tim’s side of the fam but this year we are headed to New York and Amagansett for a real city Christmas! Though petrified of the flight with a walk 1 and a half year old, I can’t wait to see Sonny get all bundled up and experience snow for the first time. I didn’t see my first snowfall until I was in college. Isn’t that crazy?

Grow with Gugu: Imaginative Play

This post is a part of our new Grow with Gugu series by Monica Banks, founder of Gugu Guru – the ultimate baby product discovery site for style-savvy moms.

I feel like the question I get asked most is how I balance between motherhood and work. Honestly, it is a challenge. First of all, I think the word “balance” can be a dirty word for a mom. Sometimes it feels so unattainable that I stop even trying to find it. It’s just a word. I think the healthier mindset is one of finding peace in the imbalance.

Make the Fall Time Change Easier on Your Family’s Sleep Schedule

Sonny Rosenman in crib as a 2 month old

On Sunday, November 4th, clocks go back one hour when Daylight Savings Time ends, and as a result, we gain a bit of extra sleep. Obviously getting more sleep sounds blissful, but it’s not quite so simple if you have young kids. Parents often worry about how it will affect their family’s sleep and wonder when their child will adjust to the new time schedule. The good news is, that when it comes to both the spring and fall time changes, our body clocks will naturally adjust on their own. However, you may need to give your kids a bit of help, which will also make the shift that much easier.

Sonny’s Newest Essential

This post is sponsored by JOHNSON’S. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

It’s officially been one year since Sonny was born, and I can’t believe how fast time flew by!

From pregnancy to the present, I’ve researched and tried many products on Sonny to see what worked for his skin type (he has sensitive skin, just like his mama ;)). Something that’s remained a constant for him throughout these past months are Johnson’s baby products. The brand was one of my mom’s go-to’s for my siblings and I back in the day, so it only felt natural integrating their products into Sonny’s life!
