When I was about 14 years old, I got the curse of acne bestowed upon me. At the time it was the worst thing in the world! I tried everything in my power to reverse this. Little did I know acne was just a phase and had everything to do with the raging hormones my body was inflicting upon itself. Although there was nothing in my power I could do to stop the acne, my skin care obsession was born. As some of you may have noticed from my recent Blog and Instagram posts, I take skin and taking care of my skin very seriously. This, to me, has nothing to do with vanity and everything to do with healthy, vibrant looking skin and the confidence it exudes. Fresh, dewy, smooth skin can create a sense of empowerment, attitude and power within us that is unimaginable. We are stuck with the skin we are in forever, so why not do everything in our power to change it’s destiny and take care of it. It is NEVER too late to do this.
Our skin is always changing and we are faced with certain aging issues we don’t know how to conquer! Crows feet, forehead wrinkles, laugh lines… You name it, we all are beginning to face it or have faced it for years!! Whether we are in our late 20s, 30’s, 40’s and beyond we all know aging issues and wrinkles are not just a phase, they are something we wish to conquer! Now the key is realizing that you can control the destiny of your skin and achieve the beautiful skin you have always wanted by taking advantage of SK-II’s amazing skin care products. The Mid-Day Essence is to be used throughout the day; it penetrates through makeup to lock in moisture. It is perfect for on-the-go beauty.
- The Facial Treatment Essence is the signature product that SK-II launched with back in 1980. The formula has remained the same the last 35 years. This is my all time favorite product as it hydrates skin, creating a youthful glow. Use the Facial Treatment Essence on cleansed skin morning and night, prior to serums/moisturizers.
- Facial Treatment Mask was the second product SK-II launched in 1981. The mask, which has been used backstage at Fashion Week for years, is designed to allow maximum moisture to sink deep into skin. After cleansing, apply Facial Treatment Mask for 10-15 minutes. Peel off the mask and massage any excess Pitera into the skin. Then you can apply Facial Treatment Essence.
