I have never felt prettier than on my wedding day. Phoebe Ogan (@phoebs24), the most talented makeup artist I know, executed the perfect “soft wash” on my face.
I wanted the look to feel understated and natural but with light peach, pinky, shimmery tones. Phoebe started with Lancôme’s Miracle Cushion Foundation in Ivoire 140 with NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla applied only where needed. Then, she gave me a long-lasting flush with Tarte’s Cheek Stain in Glisten. To finish off my skin, she dusted on Charlotte Tilbury’s Filmstar Bronze & Glow. The eyes were very simple: Make Up For Ever Aqua Matic in ME-54, a shimmery pink, on my lid, and a little bit of NARS Eyeliner in Via Appia smudged on the lashline, a few coats of waterproof mascara and my eyes were done! We definitely needed a long lasting lip color so Phoebe opted for a few different layered products: bareMinerals’ Lipliner in Liberated, Tarte’s Power Pigment in Glisten, and Smashbox’s Long-Wear Lip Lacquer in Off-Duty.
Of course, I had to have a makeup change! Phoebs popped Stila’s Metals Shadow in [Metallic] Dusty Rose on my lids. It gave an incredible glow to my eyes, with shimmery chunks of pink, metal flakes which caught the lights as I danced.

Wow. Probably the best wedding make-up I’ve ever seen. Love it so much! Whitney looked so beautiful!
