Old Hollywood Glam Photo Shoot

I recently collaborated with Australian hair and makeup artist Max May for a photo shoot and I’m so excited to share the final results!

Max was so incredible to work with and he was nice enough to provide some insight behind the idea of the shoot.

“I wanted to create a hollywood style character with a modern feel. I saw the story of Whitney having a moment to herself before she was going to an event, walking the red-carpet or gong on stage. Each image represents a different occasion, sense of emotion or thought. Her long gaze is left to the onlooker to decided what she is thinking or feeling.

I have always thought that Whitney held a certain composure of what would have made a great hollywood starlets in the early 50’s or 60’s so it only felt right that this would be the story I would try and tell. That and the feeling of taking Whitney away from how we see her is kind of exciting to see.”

Head over to Max’s website for a 5 step how-to on how to create the “Hollywood Red Lip Look” and then see below for the products he used.
