Sonny’s new FAVORITE time of the day is bath time. For a while, we were bathing him in our kitchen sink because we were honestly too afraid to bring him into the big tub. He was growing out of it and it wasn’t such an enjoyable experience for him OR for us. However, we have a super old bathtub and were worried our knees would give out if we had to bend over and put pressure on them every night!
I feel like the question I get asked most is how I balance between motherhood and work. Honestly, it is a challenge. First of all, I think the word “balance” can be a dirty word for a mom. Sometimes it feels so unattainable that I stop even trying to find it. It’s just a word. I think the healthier mindset is one of finding peace in the imbalance.

It’s officially been one year since Sonny was born, and I can’t believe how fast time flew by!
From pregnancy to the present, I’ve researched and tried many products on Sonny to see what worked for his skin type (he has sensitive skin, just like his mama ;)). Something that’s remained a constant for him throughout these past months are Johnson’s baby products. The brand was one of my mom’s go-to’s for my siblings and I back in the day, so it only felt natural integrating their products into Sonny’s life!
Sonny is officially nine months old now and I seriously cannot believe how fast time has gone by! Lately, I’ve been looking at photos of him from just a few months ago and it’s so surreal to see how much he has changed and become a real person (fun fact: he just recently started crawling a few weeks ago, woohoo!).
Sonny is almost 5 months now and by this point I’ve nailed down the products he uses EVERY day. Many of you have asked about my must haves for the baby, so Timmy and I decided to do a short but informative video about all the things we use on and for Sonny on a daily basis.
Last week I got together with one of my fave Bachelorette’s and sorta new mom, Ali Fedotowsky, to talk all things baby. Lately I have been yearning for support and wisdom from fellow new moms. Ali has a cutie-patootie 16 month old daughter named Molly so she knows a thing or two about raising a child. We decided to interview each other to ask all the things we were curious about from self-care to biggest fears to our favorite products.
