If you tuned into our LIVE on YouTube this past Saturday, you heard that Timmy, Sonny and I are back to strict quarantine. I am totally stir crazy. I am experiencing those same anxieties I had at the beginning of quarantine fueled by feeling trapped. Timmy and I agreed that we have to be on each other’s teams while we are stuck in the walls of our home.
It has been almost 3 months since the Stay At Home order was put in place in California. Parts of LA are beginning to reopen, but we are still limiting leaving the house. A lot of us are continuing to be tested right now as restlessness, stress and anxiety continue to persist with all of the uncertainty going on in our country. Dr. Arielle Schwartz is back with an essay on resilience strategies.
Happy Friday! So crazy. At first Fridays felt the same as every other day, but now they’re one of my favorite days. I get a good balance of productivity, quality time with Sonny and relaxation on Fridays and that makes me feel whole. Another reason I love Fridays is because I get to gather this fun list 🙂

I hope you all are continuing to stay safe and healthy. I am still taking this all one day at a time. I have found myself experiencing several good days before getting hit with a bad one that knocks me on my a**. That bad one always makes me feel deflated and anxious.

I have decided to make it a priority to schedule out some ME TIME every day during quarantine. For me, that means going outside to read a book, going on a walk, watching easy TV, working out for at least 20 min or giving myself a facial!

We are trying really hard to go to the grocery store as little as possible right now. That means we are working with what we got…kind of intimidating but also a good challenge. We shouldn’t be wasting what we have. This whole situation has put a lot in perspective for me, and I want to make changes now that will stick far after this is over. I was recently connected with Chef Donal Skehan and thought it would be great if he provided some quick tips and tricks for cooking from your pantry!
