What’s In My Hospital Bag

What is in Whitney Port's Cuyana Hospital Bag for her Pregnancy

This post is a part of our baby essentials series by Monica Banks, founder of Gugu Guru – the ultimate baby registry discovery site for style-savvy moms.

I can’t believe it but it’s almost “go time” for Whitney. In just a few short weeks, she’ll be welcoming the newest member of the Rosenman family.  With moving into her new home, Whitney has definitely been doing a lot of packing lately but she still needs to pack up one more very important thing –  the bag for her stay at the hospital.

Most experts suggest that you pack your hospital bag around the 34 week mark.  Even though the anticipation of welcoming a new one will undoubtedly heighten when packing a hospital bag, first time moms like Whitney should keep in mind that the average first time pregnant mama delivers around 41 weeks and 1 day.

On that note, here’s our advice for first timers: Even though pregnancy – especially summer pregnancies – can be uncomfortable in the last stretch, skip googling those “labor inducing ideas” and try your best to enjoy your last few weeks as a family of two.  Read a book, take naps, get a manicure/pedicure – all those activities will become rare indulgences in those early months once your little one arrives.

Now back to business…We’ve split Whitney’s hospital bag packing list into two lists: “Must-Haves” and “Nice to Haves.” Read through the list below and then download a copy of the list for yourself here.
