This post today will be on one of my favorite looks from the past, yet making a comeback. This 1960s look is super simple and chic, yet glam when you add a few accessories.
1. Prep hair using Christophe Robin Rose hair spray at root to create a lift when you begin to blow the hair out.
2. Blow out hair using R+Co Round Brush 3, this will ensure hair has shine and softness for when you begin to style.
3. Create soft wrapping waves using the GHD 1.25 curling iron facing the iron downward and wrapping hair all in same direction, leaving the ends out slightly- set with R+Co setting spray.
4. Create middle part, & brush hair out using a Mason Pearson brush to soften wave pattern. Take two sections from top of head to ears and brush them down behind the ears. After parting the front, begin to back comb section by section at the crown to create the height you want (refer to picture for ideal height.)
5. Using your Mason Pearson brush you can brush down the hair to gather the parts slightly together so you don’t see any parts in the scalp. Using a ‘hair’ toothbrush, you can spray Tresemme hold level number 3 or 4 on it for flyaways. Finishing off with dime size amount of The Ouai Rose hair oil– midshaft to ends for shine and silkness.
6. Lastly accessorize with My Kitsch x Justine Marjan Classic Rhinestone bobby pins.
