Taking care of my skin is so therapeutic. It can be a form of meditation for me. At the beginning of quarantine, I quickly had to come up with an alternative to going out to get facials. I created My Quickie Facial! Here are the steps and products I use with shoppable links! I only do this once a week. If you want to see my step-by-step how-to visit my IGTV. This is a great facial to do at night. I feel so clean and relaxed when I get into bed.
I hope you all had a great week and have something special planned for this weekend! If there is one thing I have learned in quarantine, it is that we need to treat ourselves every now and then. Whether it be with your favorite dessert, cocktail, expensive take out, fun shoes you’ve been eyeing for months, house plants…whatever!! A little something special always puts a smile on my face, and that can go a long way to feeling good. Timmy and I are always talking about what we can do to feel each other’s love buckets, but we need to fill our OWN love buckets too.
Have y’all tuned into WAIT WHAT WITH WHIT?? If you have, I hope you’ve been loving as much as I have. If you feel like you’re in a little bit of a slump, I highly suggest making a list of all the things you want to learn how to do that you never thought you’d have the time for, and go for it! It may be intimidating at first, but I’m hoping I come out of this quarantine a more well-rounded and knowledgeable human being. I feel so proud of myself and feel so much SHINE for actually making the time to do this stuff. Whenever I accomplish something I start to feel more motivated and empowered. That’s what getting ot of your comfort zone will do!
This week was so crazy. Every day went by so quickly, yet it felt so long. I have been feeling a little more anxious and frazzled lately so I am really going to take the time to just be this weekend. I hope you all have a restful holiday weekend ahead of you as well!! In case you are in the mood to shop on the couch ( like me ;)), here is everything I wore, used and loved over the past few weeks.
Here with a very special post from Jaquelyn Nguyen, an ER Nurse working in NYC! First off, I want to thank Jaquelyn for all of the work she is doing on the front lines of COVID-19. I am so grateful to all of the healthcare workers who are tirelessly working every day.
FriYAY for REALLLLLLL people. This week was insanity for me. I got my period and was PMS’ing hard core. Likely why I have been a little MIA on social. I hope you had a wonderful week though and have a relaxing weekend ahead of you. That is what I am hoping for! Below you will find everything I wore, used and loved this week!
It’s Saturday!!! Hallelujah! AND I can’t believe it is already August. Wild. I am going to do my very best to chill hard this weekend. We will see how it goes!! If you plan on spending a lot of time on the couch (like I do) and want to do some online shopping, here are links to everything I wore, used and loved this week!
As you guys know…I LOVE talking about skincare. Is it getting annoying yet, cause I could do it for hours and hours? I almost did this week on WITH WHIT! I spoke with Celeste Thomas, a Registered Nurse and holistic skincare expert. She has devoted her career to exploring the ever-evolving skincare industry. Celeste utilizes her medical expertise and passion for holistic wellness to find what truly works. Below you will find links to products from her favorite skincare brands!! I already bought and love them all!
The past two weeks have been SO exciting. My new collection, Love, Whit x Rent the Runway, launched!!! I worked on this for so long and it is so surreal that it’s finally out and ready for you to rent (or buy if you love!). Below, you will find some of my fave pieces from Love, Whit…PLUS more products I wore, used and loved this week.
It’s sad this is the first time I am hearing of some of these brands. I’ve been so inspired by everyone shedding light on black owned businesses and decided to do some research myself. Here is a curated list of pieces I discovered and love from their sites. Let’s use our spending power for good.
