Whenever I’m traveling, one of my favorite parts is packing and making outfits! Thanks to some help from my stylist friend Caley Rinker, I got to play with all sorts of designer pieces.
When you’re visiting a new city, it’s the perfect time to play around with your style and plan a variety of looks for whatever you’re up to. This summer, Timmy and I decided to visit a couple places in Italy and I was so excited!
So I’ve had this vintage jacket forever and haven’t known what to do with it. It’s very ornate and has an interesting shape so it doesn’t go with a lot. I feel like we all have those pieces we don’t want to give up but also don’t know how to wear!
Last weekend Timmy and I ventured out for one of our first mom-and-dad night’s out! We went to Greystone Mansion for a friend’s Wedding Rehearsal. It was so hard to leave Sonny behind but it was so nice to be out of the house with Timmy and the rest of my family and it felt really good to dress up and feel good about myself.
When I used to live in NYC, I would head to Artizia on Broadway for my quick fix of shopping adrenaline. They always had the cutest staples, in the best colors, made with amazing quality for not so expensive prices. Recently, it has opened up here in LA at the new Westfield Century City Mall and I went on a HUGE shopping spree. The great thing about the store for me right now is that so many of the bodies are conducive to big bellies.
In honor of the MTV special airing tonight I thought I would repost this amazing gallery of some of my hits and misses from the last decade. It’s crazy to think I have had a sustained career in fashion after looking back at my INSANE looks from both episodes of the show and red carpet appearances during filming. I must keep telling myself that trends come and go and I MUST have just been following them at the time!
