How To Achieve “Body Freedom”

HI!! Happy New Year!!

I can’t believe it’s already 2020! So much happened in 2019, yet it seemed to fly by. Does it feel like that for anyone else? One exciting thing that happened last year was I released my first podcast, WITH WHIT! Thank you so much to everyone who has tuned in and listened. This has been such an incredible journey of growth and LEARNING – seriously…I never thought I would learn so much doing this.

The new year has started, and I am working hard to set manageable goals for this year. Goals that aren’t overwhelming and (hopefully) achievable! New Year’s resolutions can be intimidating, which is why I prefer to think about goals. I highly recommend you try this! It really helps me get into an optimistic and positive mindset with things to look forward to. In today’s world of social media people do a lot of comparing. I know I do it. It’s hard not to when everyone is putting their lives (or a version of their lives) on display. It’s so important that people consistently try and build their self confidence and worth. While scrolling through social media, it is easy to start suffering from negative self-esteem towards the way you look. I believe it’s so important to think positively about how we look as it affects how we feel. How you feel on the outside contributes to how you feel on the inside.

My guest this week on WITH WHIT, is Amber Romaniuk. Amber is an Emotional Eating, Digestive and Hormone Expert who helps professional women achieve optimal health through mindful eating, self-care and overcoming self-sabotage with food. She overcame her own emotional eating after gaining and losing more than 1000 lbs and spending over $50,000 on binge foods and spending 5 years balancing her hormones and digestion. Now she helps others achieve Body Freedom™ so they have the confidence and health to create amazing lives. I am so inspired by Amber and the fact that she is using her own difficult, personal experience to serve and help others. For more information about Amber, see below! If you are struggling (or know someone who is struggling) with body image issues I highly recommend you listen to this episode at one of these links:

How to Achieve Body Freedom with Amber Romaniuk

Did you know that over 85% of women say they dislike or hate at least one part of their body?

For Amber Romaniuk, the fight with her body began at age 5 when she was called fat entering the bus on her very first day of school. She began turning to food for comfort, pleasure, or to numb painful emotions. By age 20, she was dealing with a full-blown food addiction that no amount of dieting and hard-core workouts could cure.

After 5 years of abusing her body and hormones with food, gaining and losing more than 1000 pounds, and spending over $50,000 on binge food, she knew she needed a new approach. Little did she know that healing herself would forge a path to her now guiding other women to claim Body Freedom – to overcome emotional eating and rebalance their hormones and digestion.

“Too many women are suffering, often in silence,” Amber says. “We have so much societal pressure to look at certain way, work out, follow the latest diet, and be ‘perfect women’ doing it all. Yet, inside, we are in battle with ourselves. And this affects women from all walks of life – from the stay-at-home mom, to the celebrity or powerhouse CEO.”

Amber shares that there is a better way – one born out of self-love and self-discovery. Diets don’t address the root causes of limiting beliefs, low self-worth, body insecurities and our relationship with food. When we connect back to ourselves, we can gift our bodies what they truly need. And often the weight we are carrying as protection – whether it’s 10 or 100 lbs – can be safely released.

Today, Amber Romaniuk is an Emotional Eating, Digestive and Hormone Expert who has helped thousands of professional women achieve optimal health through mindful eating, self-care and overcoming self-sabotage with food.
