Are You and Your Dharma a Vibrational Match? By Sahara Rose

Excerpt from Discover Your Dharma

You want to know your dharma (soul’s purpose) badly; I can feel it. But are you a vibrational match for it? You tell me. Imagine your dharma is that person on social media you so wish you could be real-life friends with. If they came over and you complained about how annoyed with life you are the whole time, how nothing ever works out for you, how you must be the dumbest person on the planet because your life sucks the most, are they going to want to stay for dinner? We want to be around high-vibe people—and that starts with being a high-vibe person. Your dharma is the same way. It isn’t going to hang around while you recount everything that’s gone wrong that day. It’ll show up when you show up.

You are only going to fulfill your dharma to the extent that you are a vibrational match for it. Even if you know your dharma, you’re not able to embody it unless you can remain in a vibrational state high enough to fulfill it. Simply put, you can’t do your best work when you’re feeling like shit. You have to take care of your vibrational state first, so your dharma can flow through effortlessly.

We’re all human radios picking up on unseen energies. This is how you can just feel if something is off or that a person’s true intentions may not be clear—you are using your vibratory senses. Have you ever felt that a friend is having a bad day simply by the way they’re texting you? Or have you ever met someone and felt an instant soul connection? Have you ever walked into a room and felt like some shit just went down there? Or walked into a home and either felt the love or that something is off? These are all examples of how we pick up on subtle vibrations every day.

We’re all born high vibrational—look at the prana of a baby, so pure and full of life. However, somewhere along the way, we lose that natural-born innocence. We focus on the negative because the world around us does.

Your life is a reflection of your vibration. When your vibes are high, you are unstoppable. You are a manifesting machine. You say something and it shows up on your doorstep in a bow tie. You may say, “You know, I’d really love to connect with Alyson,” and next thing you know, she’s texting you. Your life is a web of synchronicities, each taking you further along the path toward your dharma. This is living in kriya, and this is your birthright.

When you’re in a low vibrational state, the opposite is true. One thing leads to the next and your vibe keeps getting worse. The thoughts in your head are spiraling downward, as are the situations in your life. This is the power of vibration. We are all making daily choices that affect our vibration. It may be something we are doing only for a minute, like gossiping, rushing, or worrying—but even one minute can have a lasting impact on our day.

Taking care of your vibrational state is key to finding your dharma because you’re never going to embody it when you’re down in the dumps. Sure, life will throw obstacles at you that may bring down your vibration temporarily, but it is your opportunity to learn how to bring it back up. When you transmute your obstacles into medicine, you create alchemy. You must find the tools that work for you to take you from a low vibe to a high vibe. It may be a dance party in your living room, a kundalini practice, a walk outside, or a meditation. Just one simple act of self-love is all you need to turn that vibe upside down and from there, you’re all the way up!

Your vibration is your choice. Negative things might have happened to you, but they do not define you. Experiencing hardships does not destine you for low vibrational tendencies—indeed, those who experience hardship often recognize the importance of positive thinking and have the highest vibrations. Some of the highest vibrational people have had extremely challenging lives, and some of the lowest vibrational people have had everything handed to them.

We always have the power to bring up our vibration. It can be as easy as giving a genuine compliment to someone, texting a friend about how much we appreciate them, teaching something we know to someone, wearing an outfit that makes us feel cute, helping a person who is struggling, decluttering our work space, volunteering our time, spending a weekend in nature. These little decisions make a big difference in our overall vibration, which allows us to manifest our dharma.

Your dharma will require you to reach a level of alignment that you most likely have never reached before. Your dharma requires all of you. You’ll have to show up in ways you never have before and tap into sides of you that you didn’t know existed. Obstacles will come your way, but remaining in a high vibrational state will allow you to transmute them into lessons on your path. The good news is that once you’ve enhanced your vibration, you’ll know exactly how it feels when you’re off and how to increase it again when you’re out of balance.

The life you experience is a reflection of your internal reality. There is no “out there”—it’s all in here. The Vedas are the first-ever recorded texts channeled by rishis, spiritual sages in northern India, on how we can live our optimal human experiences. They are the basis of yoga, Ayurveda, meditation, astrology, chakras and many other forms of holistic sciences we practice today. These texts run in my bloodline and I feel I am embodying my ancestors, who originated from these very lands, when I channel this text to you. The Vedas say, “As is the microcosm, so is the macrocosm.” It’s the difference between choosing to start your day with affirmations and a morning routine, or anxiety and stress. These little decisions create your larger vibration, which create your entire world.

So what are you attracting? Are you meeting the right people at the right time? Are you finding the exact books, podcasts, and teachers your soul needs to hear? Are you channeling ideas and stepping into the flow state? This means you’re living in kriya, effortless flow, and in a high vibrational state.

Or does life feel like you’re putting out one fire after the next? Shitty things just keep happening to you and you don’t even know why—and honestly, it makes you feel sorry for yourself. You don’t know what you need to focus on and keep procrastinating because you already have so much to do and feel like life’s not fair. This is living in karma—and all these negative emotions are a reminder for you not to continue walking this path and turn instead toward your truth. From one good thought comes another. So just start with one little reminder, one little dance move, one little moment of self-care. Each of these acts of self-love guides us to the next and before we know it, we vibin’ high.

Remember—we are always manifesting, not just when we’re writing down our goals. The vibration you put out there is the energy that will come back to you—and we always have the opportunity to raise it up.
