Happy Friday! So crazy. At first Fridays felt the same as every other day, but now they’re one of my favorite days. I get a good balance of productivity, quality time with Sonny and relaxation on Fridays and that makes me feel whole. Another reason I love Fridays is because I get to gather this fun list 🙂

I hope you all are continuing to stay safe and healthy. I am still taking this all one day at a time. I have found myself experiencing several good days before getting hit with a bad one that knocks me on my a**. That bad one always makes me feel deflated and anxious.

This week on WITH WHIT, I have a very, very special guest…my younger sister, Paige! Her life does not look how she envisioned it. Four weeks before the stay at home order was put in place in California, she gave birth to her son, Wolf. My heart is with all of the brand new moms and women who are pregnant out there!
I have decided to make it a priority to schedule out some ME TIME every day during quarantine. For me, that means going outside to read a book, going on a walk, watching easy TV, working out for at least 20 min or giving myself a facial!
There is so much out of our control right now that it feels good to take charge of our daily routines by simplifying. While my skincare routine has always felt efficient, I tend to use a lot of different products because I love trying new things. I love to try new things and will continue to but it is also promising to hear that we don’t need as much as we think we do on a normal basis. Nisha Shah, a Physician’s Assistant at Moy, Fincher, Chipps Facial Plastics and Dermatology, reminded me in our live yesterday that less really can be more when it comes to taking the best care of our skin. We are trying really hard to go to the grocery store as little as possible right now. That means we are working with what we got…kind of intimidating but also a good challenge. We shouldn’t be wasting what we have. This whole situation has put a lot in perspective for me, and I want to make changes now that will stick far after this is over. I was recently connected with Chef Donal Skehan and thought it would be great if he provided some quick tips and tricks for cooking from your pantry!
