Prep List In Case You Get Sick


I hope everyone is being safe, smart and clean. I know it’s so scary right now! The media covering  is overwhelming. There is a lot of information out there about what we should do to prevent getting this, however, I am not seeing that much about what to do if we contract it.

A friend of a friend (who is a NURSE!!) passed along a prep list to use in case you get sick. Below is the list! I made shoppable links to options I could find! Be safe out there.



Thermometer (monitor a fever — you only need to go to a medical building if you’re having trouble breathing or have had the same fever for more than a day — call your doctor before you go, too. It’s likely you don’t need to go in!)
Lots of Healthy Produce — even if it’s frozen! The best thing to do is fill your body with vitamin-rich foods
Soup & Green/Ginger Teas (to warm the throat)

Green Tea

Ginger Tea

Acetaminophen & Ibuprofen (alternate one to the other every 3hrs during fever)

Tylenol Extra Strength Rapid Release Gels with Acetaminophen


Cold Meds (a cough suppressant & expectorant)

Mucinex DM

Zinc Drops & Vitamin D (speed healing process)

Ionic Zinc

Vitamin D3

Humidifier & Water (to thin mucus and wash infection out)
